About 97% of heavy-duty trucks rely on petroleum diesel but only 50% of all convenience stores sell it. This lack of availability has been a problem for heavy-duty truck drivers, and that’s where biodiesel comes in.

From 2012 to 2018, biodiesel consumption increased by 111%. With fuel costs rising for truckers and tight fuel margins at convenience stores, the desire for biodiesel will continue to grow.

The increased demand comes from the many benefits biodiesel usage brings, such as lower emissions than petroleum diesel, lower costs, and strong performance outputs.

Biodiesel incorporation requires little to no modification to a convenience store and diesel vehicles can run on biodiesel blends without equipment upgrades.
