Tentative Collective Agreement Reached Between Gov’t-Border Workers Union

  • August 10, 2021

“As a result of this development, we expect operations to continue and we know that we can rely on all of you to work with your usual high levels of dedication, integrity and professionalism. This will allow us to collectively maintain the safety and security of our border, ensure compliance with our laws, and keep the border open to legitimate travellers and goods,” CBSA leadership said in a statement. “In what is a very dynamic period, we have shown that we can work together as one team to persevere through challenging times.”

CTA and OTA will continue to monitor the situation.
